Greetings,
This month, as my musings, I wish to talk about what it means to hold Sacred Space for someone.
A couple of years ago this is what someone did for me, and it changed my life. Now I do it in my work, and I do it with my family. As my family in Sweden is going through a very difficult time, I am grateful to have learned the healing power of holding Sacred Space.
And so, I wish to share with you what I've learned:
When you hold Sacred Space for someone, you bring your presence, not your ego. With that I mean, you do not bring any of your own issues. You set them aside.
As you are not measuring what is said, to your own life, judgment is also left outside this space. It is free of judgment, hence love automatically fills the space.
The person for whom you're holding Sacred Space may see themselves as broken, however this is not how you see them. For they cannot heal in a space where they are seen as broken. And so, you hold in your mind and in your heart, their true potential. You see their light.
You do not hold any expectations. No demands. It is for you to delight in the moment, and to honor their presence in your life.
The magical thing is that you do not have to say or do anything. Bringing this presence is enough.
And the most beautiful thing you can do, is to hold Sacred Space for yourself. :)

PS. After reading Octuvious letter regarding judgment, I had a question for him. I wanted to know: What about having opinions and wanting things to be different, is that not also judging? What is the difference?

Precious ones,
As the darkness subsides, and the days are growing longer, know that in similar ways your light is growing brighter. In truth, it was always bright. What is happening is that you are becoming aware of it, and in so doing you are finding its yearning to shine.
Darkness is not bad. Darkness is a blessing, for it holds the light. Yours is the planet of contrast. It is the contrast which gives you focus. And it is the focus which creates. Focused energy manifests into physical reality. Unfocused energy does not.
Do you follow?
I will bring up again the issue of judgment, for it is so important. There is judgment in many forms, many times disguised, for you have judgment against having judgment.
When you look in the mirror and decide that you are not beautiful, that there is something wrong with the way you look, you are being.... honest? self-aware? Oh, my favorite, realistic!?
The truth, dear ones, is that you are judging yourself. You are buying into an illusion, for the absolute truth is that you are beautiful beyond measure. Every single one of you.
In the same way that the darkness subsides, a higher vibration is being introduced to your planet. This will assist you in seeing through illusions.
Illusions are maintained through beliefs, and we understand that it is not possible for you to discard your beliefs without loosing a sense of self. We are not asking that you discard your beliefs, but simply acquire new ones. For as you acquire new beliefs, you do not loose a sense of self, you expand a sense of self.
