Hello everyone :)

When I was little I loved this one toy. It was a square tray with small tiles within it, I think there were 15 of them. Each one with a number on it… from 1 to 15. They were in four rows, and they could slide up and down, or left to right because one tile was missing. Perhaps you know what toy I mean. We would go on long car rides and it’d keep me entertained for hours.

What you’d do is, you’d scramble the numbers, and then the aim was to organize them again. So you’d move the 3 over to the left to make room for the 8 so the 5 could go next to the 4… and so on. It was so much fun. When they were finally all organized, you’d look at it…. sigh, and scramble them all up again.

See the fun was not to have them organized, the fun was to organize them. That was the engaging part. That was the creative part. And so it is with life.

We think we want everything in place, until we get everything in place, then suddenly we don’t feel so challenged, am I right, or is this just me?

You know, there were times when I thought I’d scramble it so well, I would never be able to get them back in place. But then I would remember; They came from order. No matter how impossible it may seem, they will find their way back into order again.

Be well :)

Maia

PS. No there was no February Newsletter. I just couldn’t get the ten over by the nine. Now that we are finally getting settled into our new home I’m leaving the fourteen and fifteen out of place ‘cause I don’t feel like scrambling them all up and starting over just yet.

Wise Words from Octuvious
(my Spirit Guide)

CHANGE

Humor is a wonderful asset in the dance of life. To find humor in adversity is a way to forgive Life. To find humor in oneself is a way to forgive and accept oneself. Bringing on a sense of peace.

The moment you discover something funny, it is not that it is funny, it is that you have connected with a place within you that knows that All is Well. You have allowed yourself to relax in the moment and dissolve any fears.

You cannot see the humor in something, and fear it.

If you are angry and think of something funny, the anger is gone. If you are fearful and think of something funny, the fear is gone.

Humor is a wonderful companion. It gives one perspective and strength.

Infants have a sense of humor. You may not understand what they think is so funny, but they do.

Do not underestimate the power of humor, and the power of laughter.

For your mental, physical and spiritual health, if it is not in your nature to meditate, then we suggest; read the comics.

Realize that just as you cannot think of something funny and remain fearful, you also cannot be trusting and fearful at the same time, and so it follows that humor allows you to become more trusting of Life.

To allow humor to serve you in ways of making you more accepting of other’s behavior, of your own behavior, and more accepting of the quirks of life, this is to use humor for its highest purpose.

This concludes this reading.
In our hearts you rest, as we send you love.
